80 Days, Wasted Youth and Shelter among films to receive support at Guadalajara International Film Festival
The European Film Promotion’s (EFP) Film Sales Support (FSS) scheme is backing 10 promotional campaigns from eight European sales agents and production companies with films at the 26th Guadalajara International Film Festival (March 25 – April 01).
The support, totalling $43,024 (€30,390), will cover 50% of costs for prints, promotional material, press work and expenses related to the companies’ presence at the festival.
Among the supported films are Jon Garaño and Jose Mari Goenaga’s 80 Days, Argyris Papadimitropoulos and Jan Vogel’s Wasted Youth and Dragomir Sholev’s Shelter.
For the second year, the EFP is also operating an umbrella stand at the Gudalajara Mercado, with the aim of highlighting the presence of European films at the festival.
A full list of the supported films and companies can be found on the EFP website.
EFP consists of 31 European promotion organisations from 32 countries and is supported by the MEDIA programme.
