The Quantum Films production is a Hindi-language independent film about a 12-year-old boy on the run from reformatory who finds an abandoned baby in Mumbai.
Separately, MTV has confirmed their acquisition of Elephant Eye's breakdancing documentary Planet B-Boy directed by Benson Lee. The film continues its US theatrical run and screens in Cannes market.
Elephant Eye has sold video rights to Arts Alliance America and VOD rights to Gravitas Ventures.
'There couldn't be a more perfect home for this film and we are very happy to be working with a network that will support a film that really focuses on uniting cultures and the art of b-boying,' said Elephant Eye's Kim Jose.
Elephant Eye's slate in Cannes also includes Aaron Woodley's Tennessee starring Mariah Carey and Craig Zobel's Great World Of Sound and his forthcoming follow-up Turkey In The Straw.
