India's Eros International seems to be on a roll. After a successful 2007 with hits such as Namastey London, Partner, Heyy Babyy and Om Shanti Om, Eros has announced that it plans to release 35 films in 2008.

Some of them have already hit theatres, with varying response. Bombay To Bangkok, Sunday and Black & White failed to stir up the box office.

However, going forward, the company's line-up includes Drona, a real world-meets-fantasy action film, directed by Goldie Behl and starring Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra, which is scheduled for release in August.

The slate also includes Sujoy Ghosh's visual effects-heavy Aladin, based on the evergreen Arabian nights story, be followed by Eros' live-animated production Toonpur Ka Super Hero starring the husband-wife duo of Ajay Devgan and Kajol.

Devgan's directorial debut, U Me Aur Hum, opens this Friday. Scheduled for the big Diwali festival weekend is Subhash Ghai's Yuvraj, a musical extravaganza starring Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, and the Eros-Sajid Nadiadwala co-production Kambakht Ishq, directed by Saabir Khan with Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor in the lead.

Other releases are romantic comedy God Tussi Great Ho and Ganesh Acharya's comedy Money Hai Toh Honey Hai. International releases include Ravi Chopra's Bhootnath, Rakesh Roshan's Krazzy 4 (this Friday) and Ram Gopal Varma's Sarkar Raaj with the casting coup of Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Other international titles include Afzal Khan's romantic comedy Mehbooba, Anil Devgan's love story Haal-e-dil, Had Bahedi, The Great Indian Butterfly, Pankh, Hijack and Mr. White Mr. Black.

Besides these Hindi movies, Eros has also trained its sights on regional cinema and has about 15 Tamil films planned under the banner of Ayngaran International.

The Eros International-Ayngaran slate includes Aegan by Raju Sundaram, an as-yet-untitled project by Prabhu Deva, Peraanmai by Jhananathan, Sarvam by Vishnu Vardhan, two untitled projects by Selva Raghavan, among others.

Internationally, the line-up of Tamil releases includes Kuruvi by Dharani, Jeeva and Aneez's Dhaam Dhoom, Varanam Ayiram by Gautam Menon, Kanthaswamy, Ayan and more.
