Atlantic Screen Music has launched Atlantic Screen Composers to produce music scores for film and TV productions. The company’s £2m launch budget comes from an EIS supported by Octopus Investments.
Atlantic Screen Music, which is managed by ex-Aramid executive Simon Fawcett, and music publisher Tim Hollier, already represents several film companies as music supervisor and music publishing administrator. Those include Ealing Studios, The Recorded Picture Company and Gurinder Chadha.
Simon Fawcett said “Producers need all the financial support they can get in today’s tough financial environment as well as the expertise to maximise the value of their music assets, and ASC will provide both.”
Tim Hollier said “I previously built Fimtrax into a multi-million dollar film and TV music publishing company, ASC provides that same opportunity to create something equally significant again.”
