Martin Scorsese and actor Leonardo DiCaprio will receive the Cinema Vanguard Award at the 29th Santa Barbara International Film Festival on February 6.

The honour celebrates one of the most enduring director-star partnerships of contemporary cinema, whose most recent creation is current release The Wolf Of Wall Street.

Prior recipients include Amy Adams, Jean Dujardin and Bérénice Bejo, Nicole Kidman, Christoph Waltz, Kristin Scott Thomas and Ryan Gosling. The festival runs from January 30-February 9.

  • August: Osage County won four awards including Best Film Of The Year at the 18th Capri, Hollywod – The International Film Festival in Italy, which ended on January 2.

    August also claimed the best cast prize, as well as best actress for Meryl Streep and the Lifetime Achievement Award for Chris Cooper. For full details visit the official website.
