Industry meeting and works in progress screening event runs alongside American Film Festival in Wroclaw.

To avoid branding confusion, Poland’s Gotham In Progress is changing its name to US in Progress.

The first edition, held in conjunction with the American Film Festival in Wroclaw, Poland, was an industry meeting introducing American filmmakers with works in progress to potential European partners.

The event is organized by the New Horizons Association in Poland and Paris- and New York-based Black Rabbit Films, with support from the City of Wroclaw and the Polish Film Institute.

At the November 2011 edition, 11 projects were introduced to more than 30 European distributors, sales companies and festival programmers.  

It will be known as US in Progress for the 2012 edition and subsequent events.
