The T-Mobile New Horizons International Film Festival in Wrocław, has announced the juries in three out of its four competitions.
The jury for the Films On Art International Competition, which carries a 10,000 Euros prize and distribution, will include filmmakers Ben Russell, Amos Poe and Karol Radziszewski [pictured] as well as MOMA curator Sally Berger and Diagonale Festival Director Barbara Pichler.
Films already confirmed in that competition include Mark Cousins’ What Is This Film Called Love? and Helio Oiticica by Cesar Oiticica Filho.
The Polish Shorts Competition jury will feature festival programmers Laurence Reymond (Quinzaine des Realisateurs) and Jukka-Pekka Laakso (Tampere) and filmmaker Fijona Jonuzi.
In the European Shorts Competition, the jury is made up of Polish directors Ana Brzezinska and Norman Leto and Polish critic Jakub Majmurek.
The main, New Horizons International Competition and FIPRESCI juries will be announced in June.
The 13th edition of the festival will take place in Wrocław July 18-28, with a focus on French Neo Baroque, the works of Walerian Borowczyk, Hans-Juergen Sybelberg, new Russian cinema and cyberpunk.
The festival’s industry event, Polish Days,will take place July 24-26.
