Filmax has signed an agreement with Barcelona based publishing company Grupo Godo to launch a movie channel in the Catalonia region on digital terrestrial television.

The new channel is set to be trialled in November with Filmax planning to show its catalogue of more than 4,000 films, including recent hit REC. It will also supply electronic programme guides and information about each film.

Furthermore, Filmax will shortly be launching a film, music and television website under the name Yo Decido (I decide) to help boost distribution of its titles.
