Seoul-based Finecut has picked up worldwide sales rights for Korean auteur Hong Sang-soo's upcoming feature Jal Aljido Mot Hamyeonsuh (original title).

Currently in post-production, the film has yet to settle on an international title, although the original Korean title means 'as if you even know properly' or as Finecut puts it, 'like you know it all'.

The story follows the journey and memories of a filmmaker named Ku Kyung-nam, and his perspectives on his encounters with two women in seemingly different yet very similar situations.

The three leads have all previously worked with Hong - Kim Tae-woo from Woman Is The Future Of Man, Ko Hyun-jeong from Woman On The Beach and Um Ji-won from Tale Of Cinema.

Other well-known actors in the film include Ha Jung-woo, who played the serial killer in The Chaser and the male lead in Lee Yoon-ki's drama My Dear Enemy (which makes its international premiere in the upcoming Berlinale Forum).

Finecut CEO Young-joo Suh previously handled Asian territories on Hong's Cannes competition entry Woman Is The Future Of Man (2004).

Hong's latest film is his ninth feature, self-produced and financed by his own production company Jeonwonsa.

The film is scheduled for local release in the first half of this year.

Hong has also recently directed a short film for the Jeonju Digital Project 2009 omnibus called Lost In The Mountains, which will screen during the Jeonju International Film Festival (April 30 - May 8).
