First Light Movies, the initative to get UK youngsters making films, has struck a deal for five of its shorts to be shown on Virgin Atlantic planes.
First Light-funded films made by six- to 18-year-olds will be shown on Virgin Atlantic's inflight entertainment system from July to November.
The selected films are: The Princess And The Pendant, Which Witch', Munchatreeaforest, Two Men And Their Ponies, Lights Out!
Faye Spiller, media acquisitions executive for Virgin Atlantic said: 'Virgin Atlantic is delighted to be working with First Light Movies to offer these special films onboard. Virgin Atlantic has a reputation for award winning in-flight entertainment offering a wide variety of choice for everyone and we are sure that these mini films will be very popular with our younger passengers.'
First Light projects had already been available on demand to Virgin Media customers.
