The fourth Abu Dhabi Film Festival, formerly the Middle East International Film Festival, will be held from October 14–23.

Festival heads will announce the full line-up on September 27, several weeks after the Sanad Development & Post-Production Fund grant recipients are unveiled on September 5.

The festival was established in 2007 with the goal of helping to create a vibrant film culture throughout the region. The event is presented each October by the Abu Dhabi Authority For Culture And Heritage under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan.
