Twentieth Century Fox drafted in major stars to support the reel presentations for exhibitors at this year's Cinema Expo in Amsterdam.
Hugh Jackman, Keanu Reeves, Jennifer Aniston, Owen Wilson and Rainn Wilson all made personal appearances to promote their upcoming films
David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada) introduced his new film Marley & Me (released in the US on Christmas Day 2008) starring Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson.
The family comedy, which Frankel described as a film 'about the little moments in life, the events we don't plan to happen', is about a couple who come together through their neurotic dog, Marley.
Aniston and Wilson both appeared on stage, alongside one of the 28 dogs which played Marley in the film, to introduce the film's official trailer to delegates.
Footage was shown of Baz Luhrmann's anticipated romantic adventure Australia, with Hugh Jackman supporting the movie personally.
Both Hanneman and Jegeus encouraged exhibitors to install 3D into their cinemas to reap the benefits of the third instalment of Ice Age (out in the US July 1, 2009), which is fully produced in 3D, before showing a teaser for the film.
Delegates were also shown footage/trailers/teasers for thriller Mirrors (starring Kiefer Sutherland), French box-office hit Taken (starring Liam Neeson), Mark Wahlberg's new film Max Payne, The X-Files: I Want To Believe, Dragonball, romantic comedy Bride Wars (starring Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway), Night At The Museum 2, and unseen footage of Tom Cruise Second World War drama Valkyrie.
