Company has produced thriller Harrigan.
Freddie Fletcher has been appointed non-executive chairman of TallTree Pictures, which has offices in Newcastle and London.
The company recently produced thriller Harrigan starring Stephen Tompkinson.
A former Provost of Greenock, Fletcher has held the position of Treasurer of the Scottish Football League, Member of the Scottish Football Association and member of the International League Board. He has worked with Glasgow Rangers and Newcastle United, as well as serving as chief executive of Newcastle Rugby Club, Newcastle Basketball Club and Newcastle Ice Hockey Club.
TallTree’s Vince Woods, who directed Harrigan, said: “We are delighted to welcome Freddie Fletcher to our board as non-executive Chairman. He is a man of great enthusiasm and charisma and has a huge amount of success in extremely challenging areas of business. Freddie will help to broaden awareness of the TallTree brand and his expertise and superb network of contacts will be a tremendous asset as we seek to generate funding for our future movie projects.”
TallTree is currently raising financing for its second feature.
