The syndicate includes East West Bank, Wells Fargo, Bank Leumi and City National Bank.

Media Rights Capital will use the money to grow its film and television businesses and develop a pipeline that encompasses a five-year distribution deal with Universal.

The development and production slate includes Neill Blomkamp [pictured]’s Elysium that Sony will distribute and House Of Cards, the serialised Netflix political drama produced by David Fincher and starring Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright.
