French powerhouse Gaumont has announced key sales on its $29 million Holocaust drama, The Round Up.

The film, premiering in Berlin, has gone to Wide in Spain, E1 for Canada, Belga for Belgium, Monopole Pathé in Switzerland, Golden Harvest in HongKong, and Odeon in Greece.

The Round Up stars Jean Reno, Melanie Laurent and Gad Elmaleh. Billed as the French Schindler’s List, it is  produced by Alain Goldman and directed by Rose Bosch.

Gaumont is co-financing as well as handling international sales and French distribution. The French release has been set for March 10th 2010, on over 500 prints.
