French major Gaumont has announced the arrival of Cecile Gaget who will join the International division as executive vice-president international sales.

Gaget was formerly head of international sales at Rezo Films and also spent 4 years at TF1 International.

'Gaumont is speeding up its international operations and Cecile, thanks to her skills and experience, is the perfect match for our ambitions.' said sales and acquisitions head Loic Trocme in a press release.

Gaget takes up her duties just as the annual Unifrance Rendez-Vous are set to commence this week.

Gaget will notably handle sales for Asia, Germany, Italy, Scandinavia, the US and the UK as well as having a hand in acquisitions.
