Baden-Wurttemberg's regional film fund MFG has signed an agreement with the Catalan Institute of Cultural Industries (ICIC) and Rhone-Alpes Cinema to improve cross-border cooperation for film production with the French and Catalan regions.
The accord also intends to support the promotion and distribution of audiovisual productions, provide logistical support for film shoots and optimise the exchange of know-how and practical experiences through co-production gatherings and other joint events.
This latest venture is part of the 'Four Motors for Europe' cooperation which was initiated in Stuttgart in 1988 by the regions of Lombardy, Baden-Wurttemberg, Catalonia and Rhone-Alpes to improve the economic, cultural and social potential of the four partners.
