The UK's Granada Media, which encompasses feature production arm Granada Film under Granada Media Productions, has restructured its senior production management.

Andrea Wonfor, previously joint managing director of Granada Media Productions, becomes executive chair of Granada Media Productions and Granada Media International and Media Products, which will be managed as separate business.

Jules Burns, also previously joint managing director of Granada Media Productions, becomes managing director, operations for Granada Media Group.

Additionally, Simon Shaps is promoted to managing director of Granada Media Productions, focusing on programme making and the strategic direction and management of production.

Granada said that the restructuring was a response to growth in pay, new media and international production activities.
