Leonor Grandsire has been appointed to managing director, France for Global Networks, an international division of NBC Universal.
The announcement was made by Francois Roux, managing director EMEA, to whom Grandsire reports. The appointment, based in Paris, is effective immediately.
Since December 2007, Grandsire had been head of the Internet and media division of SACEM, the music authors, composers and publishers society in France. She previously worked at the TF1 Group.
Responsible for managing day to day operations and driving growth initiatives in France, the role supports NBCU Global Networks strategy of managing and growing local pay-TV channels as part of a portfolio of strong global brands.
Francois Roux said: 'We are pleased to welcome Leonor to the team. Her experience will be an incredibly valuable asset as we build upon our Global Networks portfolio in France'.
