Hugo Grumbar and Ian Dawson have been promoted to joint managing directors at Icon.

Head of distribution Hugo Grumbar will now be in charge of the international side of the business, whilst general manager of home entertainment Ian Dawson will oversee all aspects of the UK business.

CEO Stewart Till will take on a new role as chairman for the Icon UK Group.

The restructure follows last month’s announcement that Icon was to launch a new film finance and production fund with TWC. Grumbar and New York-based TWC COO David Glasser will head up the fund, which could reach $100m in the initial two years.
