Hairspray will be honoured with the 11th Annual Hollywood Film Festival and Hollywood Awards' Hollywood Ensemble Acting Of The Year Award - Musical/Comedy.
The awards will be handed out at the Hollywood Awards Gala Ceremony on Oct 22 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

New Line's musical has amassed more than $80m in North America since in opened three weeks ago and is one of the summer's most successful counter-programming releases.
Adam Shankman directed the adaptation of John Waters' cult film and the film stars John Travolta, Nikki Blonsky, Christopher Walken and Michelle Pfeiffer.
