HanWay visits The Guest

HanWay Films will handle international sales on Adam Wingard’s The Guest, which sees Wingard reteam with writer Simon Barratt and Keith Calder and Jessica Wu of Snoot Entertainment.

Wingard’s latest feature is an action-thriller about a soldier on leave who befriends the family of a fallen comrade, only to become a threat to all around him when it’s revealed he’s hiding dangerous secrets from his past.

Principal photography on The Guest will begin in May in the Western United States. Calder and Wu will be producing along with Barrett.

HanWay will be introducing the project to buyers in Berlin this week. CAA represents US rights.

The Guest is Wingard’s follow-up to You’re Next which was picked up by Lionsgate who will be releasing it wide this August.
