EXCLUSIVE: Action-thriller has been picked up in a host of territories
Morten Tyldum’s Headhunters has been picked up for multiple territories after its closed market premiere in Cannes, among them an eyecatching deal for Spain (Alta).
“Morten Tyldum’s Headhunters is an exquisite example of how to compose a strong and entertaining action-thriller of huge commercial value, and we look very much forward to presenting it to the Spanish audience,” commented Alta’s Enrique Gonzales Kuhn.
Big Movie (Russia), Insomnia (Ex-Yugoslavia), Mares Filmes (Brazil), and Independenta Film (Romania) are among the other distributors to swoop for the film, which has already been bought by Magnolia, NFP, Lumiere, Momentum and Rialto Distribution among others.
The film has also gone to Estonia (Estin Films ) and Aerofilms (The Czech Republic.)
