London based distributor, High Fliers Films, has acquired UK rights to New Town Killers from production and sales outfit Independent.

The thriller is directed by Richard Jobson and produced by Luc Roeg. It stars Dougray Scott, Alastair Mackenzie and James Anthony Pearson and tells the story of two bankers who get their kicks from playing a 12 hour game of hunt, hide and seek with people from the margins of society.

Roeg said 'High Fliers enthusiasm for the project and the ideas they have for the film's release make them the ideal partner for this British thriller. NTK attracted some very positive attention from the international buyers at the AFM and we are all excited to be working on its UK release.'
