Director Everardo Gout’s Days Of Grace (Dias De Gracia) will make its US premiere when it opens the 2012 Hola Mexico Film Festival.
The film is nominated for 15 Ariel awards by the Mexican Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences.
Adiós Clichés is the theme for this year’s festival and explores what it means to be Mexican in the 21st century and the contrasting reality of Mexico.
New this year is the Hola Niños programme for children with matinee films including Top Cat (Gato Y Su Pandilla) and The Legend Of La Llorona (La Leyenda De La Llorona).
The festival is set to run from May 24-30 at the Ricardo Montalban Theatre in Hollywood.
