Among the new projects added to Screenbase is Wasteland starring Luke Treadaway.
Filming has just finished in Leeds on UK drama Wasteland, which stars Luke Treadaway, Matthew Lewis, Gerard Kearns and Iwan Rheon as four council estate lads who hatch a plan to get out of debt. Timothy Spall plays a detective who investigates a robbery they may be involved with. Rowan Athale is directing from his own screenplay. The film is a joint co-production between Moli Films, Head Gear Films, Hook Pictures and Mischief Films with Bankside Films holding worldwide rights.
Ben Pickering has just finished directing Matt Di Angelo, Alan Ford, Stephen Marcus and Velibor Topic in Two Days In The Smoke, about a guy who loses his job and his girlfriend and decides to rip off a small time Mafia daddy for £400k. Darren Ripley wrote the script and Pickering is producing alongside Andrew Ornitharis for Slate 4 Films. Shooting took place in London and a release is planned for this autumn.
