Each of the three nations will be represented by 20 to 30 established producers and broadcasters working in the format.
The key events are the inaugural International Coproduction Day, set for April 23, followed by the Toronto Documentary Forum, April 25-26.
The German delegation is organised by Leipzig Documentary Film Festival and AG DOK, the German documentary filmmakers' association, and the Goethe Institute; the visit reciprocates a Canadian delegations visit to Leipzig in 2006.
The Brazilian group is lead by the Brazilian TV Producers, Cinema do Brasil and the Brazilian Ministry of Culture; Brazil and Canada's National Film Board have a joint initiative to boost public filmmaking and expand digital cinema.
Italy is represented by Doc/It, the Association of Italian Documentary Filmmakers, with support from the Italian Consulate in Toronto and the Italian Trade Commission.
