Bryce Dallas Howard will receive the 2013 Spotlight Award at the 5th Annual Lady Filmmakers Film Festival.

The honour comes in recognition of Howard’s “outstanding achievements on and off camera” and will be presented during the festival, which runs from September 28-29 in Beverly Hills.

Lady Filmmakers will co-present and co-sponsor the award with the Casting Society Of America.

The festival promotes women in the industry from all ethnic, religious, and sexually oriented communities and brings awareness to social issues and challenges women face worldwide.
