Shrek 2 led the box office at Hungarian cinemas over the weekend.

Dirty Dancing 2: Havana Nights came closest to challenging ogre-mania, but fell wayshort with just over 10,000 admissions on 15 prints to Shrek's 85,000.

Hidalgo was clearly the disappointment of the week with a mere 8,500 admissions ontwenty prints while Swedish title Kopps fared solidly, nearly reaching the 5,000 admission mark at just nine locations.

Good word of mouth and thealmost exclusively positive reviews are likely to help the Swedish comedy gainfurther success next weekend when Dawn Of The Dead and The Punisherdarken the mood in the Hungarian cinemas.
