Imagina is handling international sales on Amador, the new film from critics’ darling Fernando Leon de Aranoa.

Amador, produced by Reposado and Mediapro, features Peruvian actress Magaly Solier (The Milk Of Sorrow), along with Celso Bugallo, Pietro Sibille, Sonia Almarcha and Fanny de Castro. The movie was shot last autumn in locations around Madrid and Barcelona, and is now in post-production.

According to the director, who also wrote the script, the film is about the moral dilemmas posed by everyday life.

Alta Films will release Amador in Spanish cinemas next autumn.
