Imax Corp. said it is extending its March 2002 agreement with CAA.

The large-format leader retained the talent agency to assist in securing major studio pictures for re-engineering as large-format product and attracting A-list talent to appear in Imax original productions.

The company says CAA was integral in landing Star Wars: Episode II Attack Of The Clones, which screened in Imax format last autumn, and the second and third Matrix films, The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions, which go on release June 6 and November 5 respectively.

Revolutions will be released in its Imax format day-and-date with the conventional theatrical release, a scenario Imax hopes will become standard procedure.
