Three IMAX theatre systems are expected to open by the end of the year in Houston, Lubbock, and El Paso.

Under the agreement Premiere Cinema Corp, a privately held company that ranks as one of the top 20 circuits in the US, has an option to open a fourth site.

Since Jan 1, IMAX Corporation has signed contracts for more than 100 theatre systems, more than double the number of signings that occurred during the same period in 2010.
