IMAX Corp. and SaltLake City-based LHM Group have signed an agreement to install one of itsgiant-screen cinema systems at the Jordan Commons Megaplex in the city.

The 17-screen complexis the highest-grossing in Utah. The deal will see an existing 70mm auditoriumretrofitted as an IMAX facility; it should be operational by Autumn 2005. It'sthe eighth US cinema deal signed by IMAX this year.

LHM Group's cinemascontrol nearly 60% of the Salt Lake City and Utah County market. LHM ownerLarry H. Miller expects the IMAX cinema and the digitally remastered Hollywoodreleases that will be shown on it to generate increased business for the entirecomplex.
