IMG Media will handle the international rights to Mike Dorsey’s Lost Airmen of Buchenwald.
Dorsey also produced and wrote the documentary, which is about Allied airmen imprisoned at the Buchenwald Concentration Camp in the final months of World War II.
Dorsey’s grandfather was one of 168 airmen held there.
Dorsey is the senior director of production and programming for the US-based Outdoor Channel.
Gerald Baron executive produced and also co-wrote the film with Dorsey.
Seth Lawrence and Rebel Entertainment Partners are representing the film in the US and brokered the deal with IMG.
“When faced with such a compelling story and tough-as-nails characters, my primary job as Director was to stay out of the story’s way,” Dorsey said. “The result is a heart-pounding adventure, in documentary form.”
His previous documentaries include Dearly Departed and The Six Degrees of Helter Skelter.
