UK sales and production outfit Independent has sold Duncan Jones' Moon and Richard Jobson's New Town Killers to Telepool for German speaking territories.

Sci-fi thriller Moon premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January. The film was directed by Duncan Jones, stars Sam Rockwell and features the voice of Kevin Spacey.

Moon was produced by Stuart Fenegan and Trudie Styler. It will be released by Sony Pictures Classics in North America in June this year.

New Town Killers, a chase thriller, premiered at the London Film Festival last year. The film was directed by Richard Jobson (16 Years of Alcohol) and stars Dougray Scott, Alastair Mackenzie, James Anthony Pearson and Charles Mnene.

New Town Killers was produced by Luc Roeg and Richard Jobson. The deals were negotiated between Independent's head of sales, Abigail Walsh and Telepool's Thomas Sierk.
