The Indian Film Company-Studio18 is pushing Bollywood into new territories, including the Baltics, where the company has signed a five-picture deal with Acme Films.
Titles covered by the deal include Awarapan, 1971, Kya Love Story Hai, Jab We Met and Welcome.
Acme has acquired all rights for Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
Studio18 has also sold home video and TV rights for Awarapan, Jab We Met and Welcome To Bollywood Options for Russia and the CIS.
'There has been a noticeable growth in the consumption of Bollywood content in the markets we serve,' said Arun Kumar of Bollywood Options.
Meanwhile, National Television of Iran has acquired Jab We Met and Welcome, both of which will be dubbed into Iranian for TV broadcast.
