Paola Randi’s Into Paradiso to open second edition of Italian Cinema London.
Italian Cinema London (April 01 – 10) will feature a range of features, shorts and documentaries, screening at the Riverside Studios, Hammersmith; Genesis Cinema, Whitechapel and the Phoenix Cinema, East Finchley.
Highlights of the festival include: Silvio Soldini’s Come Undone (Cosa Voglio Di Più), Gabriele Muccino’s Kiss Me Again (Baciami Ancora), Pietro Marcello’s The Mouth Of The Wolf (La Bocca Del Lupo) and Luca Miniero’s box office smash Welcome To The South (Bevenuti Al Sud).
Oscar-winning production designer Dante Ferretti (Gangs of New York, The Aviator) will give a master class at BAFTA, while for the first time the event - run in collaboration with BAFTA and the Estorick collection - will feature a section showcasing Italian art documentaries, Art on Film.
