James Knox has been appointed as vice president of UK publicity at public relations firm DDA.
Knox joined DDA last year covering for previous UK head, Bronwyn Pyke, when she was on maternity leave. He was responsible for handling the UK publicity campaigns for the The King’s Speech, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, The Expendables, The Fighter and Knight and Day, as well as the world premieres of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and the London Premieres of Tron: Legacy, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never 3D and Despicable Me.

He will be responsible for driving growth and continued development of DDA’s UK publicity department, reporting to CEO Lawrence Atkinson and COO John Stannard.
Atkinson said he was “absolutely delighted to have someone as respected and talented as James join our senior management team and look forward to seeing the continued growth and development of the department under his leadership and guidance.”
