EuropaCorp has announced the appointment of Jean-Julien Baronnet to the post of chief executive.
The company has also reinforced its board with the nomination of new administrators including Herve Digne, currently president of Postmedia Finance, and Gregoire Chertok of Rothschild & Cie.
Europa co-founder, Luc Besson, retains his position as president of the board.
In other Europa news, the company earlier this week announced an association with comic book publisher, Editions Glenat.
The two partners will jointly own a new company which will manage adaptation rights for Glenat's properties. The agreement will see Europa lend its expertise in rights management with a view to developing film and TV adaptations of the Glenat works.
Further, Europa will have a right of first refusal on all properties managed by the new company.
