UK sales agent Jinga Films has added Lawrence Gough’s Salvage to its Cannes slate.

Gough, who also wrote the script, makes his directorial debut with the horror project starring Neve McIntosh and Shaun Dooley.

Northwest Vision And Media is producing with Digital Departures, the Liverpool Culture Company and BBC Films.

A mother fights to save her daughter after a shipping container washes ashore, releasing its toxic cargo in a suburban neighborhood. Salvage will have its world premiere at the Edinburgh Internationl Film Festival.
