UK-based sales company Jinga Films has added supernatural horror The Disappeared, directed by Johnny Kervorkian, to its Cannes sales slate.
The film is a London-set contemporary ghost story about a man searching for his missing brother.
The cast features Harry Treadaway (Brothers Of The Head, Control, City Of Ember), Tom Felton, Greg Wise and Alex Jennings.
'The Disappeared strikes a similar note to Sixth Sense and The Others,' said Jinga's Rosana Coutinho. 'The film-makers have done a great job blurring the line between psychological and supernatural horror. The plot has several twists and nothing is as it first appears. It's classic Henry James.'
Jinga has also taken on international rights to George A Romero's Into The Dark directed by Johanna Salomaki. That feature documentary features interviews with Guillermo Del Toro, Dario Argento, Alexandre Aja and Neil Marshall.
Jinga's Cannes slate also includes Penny Woolcock's Exodus, Julian Richards' Summer Scars, Simon Welsford's Jetsam and Tom Tyrwhitt's Hush Your Mouth.
