Film director John Boorman will receive a lifetime achievement award at the upcoming Festival du Nouveau Cinema in Montreal, October 8 to 19.
The British director will present his 2006 film, The Tiger's Tail, starring Brendan Gleeson, as well as three of his best-known works, the cult classic Zardoz, Leo The Last and Deliverance.
He will also present a master class, open to festival-goers, on Friday, October 10.
