John Flock has been promoted from president and COO to CEO of Toronto-based Peace Arch Entertainment Group, effective immediately.

Flock highlighted four areas he believed would advance the company’s mission of growing the core businesses of feature and TV distribution and seeking opportunities in ancillary markets.

These include expanding North American theatrical distribution and continuing to grow in-house international distribution, TV and digital businesses.

The CEO said he also wanted to remodel the DVD division to reflect “the changing market conditions for independent films and television”, and would seek to lure US and international TV productions to its Canadian studio facilities.
