Belgian production, finance and international sales company Corsan
announced that production began this week in Puerto Rico on the
romantic comedy Meant To Be.
Kelly Reilly, Julian Rhindt-Tutt, Mia Maestro, Santiago Cabrera and
Kris Marshall star in the tale of a guardian angel who risks becoming
a fallen angel when he comes to earth in an effort to win the heart of
the woman of his dreams.
Paul Breuls will direct and produce following his debut feature The
Hessen Affair, a WWII thriller that starred Billy Zane and
Noah Segan.
Meant To Be is the first of three greenlit features on Corsan's 2009
production slate. Next up will be The Devil's Double that Lee Tamahori
will direct from Latif Yahia's bestselling novels and Singularity
written and directed by Roland Joffe.
Reilly has just wrapped filming on Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes
opposite Robert Downey Jr, Jude Law and Rachel McAdams.
Rhindt-Tutt's credits include Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Notting Hill
and Tomorrow Never Dies.
