Ken Russell is gearing up toshoot his new adaptation of Moll Flanders.
The $10m production willstart shooting in
Russell also wrote thescreenplay.
Film newcomer LucindaRhodes-Flaherty will play the title role and the cast also includes BarryHumphries and Steven Berkoff.
Russell has previouslydirected films including Tommy, Women In Love, The Devils, The Music Lovers and
Julie BIlly and Naomi Denamur are also developing films including Clémence Poésy’s directorial debut ‘Adaptation’ .
The film will comprise four short documentaries, shot during the war in Gaza.
Key questions include: will the indie tax credit be transformative? How will cinemas adapt? And what is going on with James Bond?
