Kevin Smith's Tusk, first trailer

Justin Long stars as a podcaster who falls foul of a sinister old man who intends to turn him into a walrus.

There. We gave away most of the plot. But in our defence, Kevin Smith said all that during his Day 2 Comic-Con presentation at Hall H on Friday (25).

Genesis Rodriguez and Haley Joel Osment star alongside Long and Michael Parks as the sinister old man.

This is Smith’s first movie since Red State in 2011. “I proudly share with you a trailer for what I feel is like the best movie I ever made,” he told Hall H.

Tusk is scheduled to open in the US on September 19 through A24, who co-financed with Demarest. XYZ Films handles international sales.
