Hong Kong’s Media Asia has sold Soi Cheang’s upcoming action title Motorway to Klockworx for Japan.

The fast-paced car racing thriller, produced by Johnnie To, also went to Turkey (Horizon) and Poland (Polmedia). Starring Anthony Wong, Shawn Yue and Guo Xiaodong, the film is scheduled for Chinese release in June.

Media Asia also sold big-budget action title Switch to Malaysia (RAM Entertainment) and Vietnam (Galaxy Studio). Gao Qunshu’s Wind Blast went to Turkey (Horizon) and Germany (Tiberius).

Johnnie To’s upcoming directorial project Blind Detective, starring Andy Lau and Sammi Cheng, went to Vietnam (Galaxy Studio) and Malaysia (RAM Entertainment). Vietnam’s Galaxy also took Andrew Lau’s The Guillotines.

Turkey’s Horizon also picked up Media Asia’s Punished, directed by Law Wing Cheong and produced by Johnnie To, and Thai production My Best Bodyguard.
