Dutch debut feature Kauwboy by director Boudewijn Koole chosen as official entry for Best Foreign Language Film.
Kauwboy has been chosen as The Netherlands’ official entry for Best Foreign Language Film.
Written by Boudewijn Koole and Jolein Laarman and produced by Jan van der Zanden and Wilant Boekelman of Waterland Film, the film follows 10-year-old Jojo who has a difficult home life but builds a special friendship with an abandoned bird.
Kauwboy had its world premiere at Berlin, where it was awarded Best First Feature and Best Youth Film.
BFD Film distributes in The Netherlands.
