Top brass at the Los Angeles Film Festival have unveiled the programming on their Coffee Talks event on Jun 16 as well as other attractions.
The four talks will take place over the course of one day and include Iron Man 3 [pictured] director Shane Black and actors Virginia Madsen and Joe Manganiello.
KCRW’s The Treatment radio show will take place on Jun 19 featuring Fast & Furious 6 director Justin Lin.
In other events, the festival will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Film Independent’s Project Involve, which will include the world premiere of Life Of A King starring Cuba Gooding Jr on Jun 22.
The Diversity Speaks panels will run on Jun 15 and the Future Filmmakers Luncheon has lined up keynote speaker Jon M Chu from Project Involve 2012.
“At the festival, one of our goals is to connect our audience with the most innovative artists and craftspeople working today,” said festival director Stephanie Allain. “In every conversation, Coffee Talk or panel there is an electric exchange that recharges both artist and audience.”
The festival is set to run from Jun 13-23.
