Carl Theodor Dreyer's 1928 La Passion De Jeanne d'Arc - complete with a new score - will open the second-annual Danish Film Fest in Los Angeles, which runs from Oct 4-11.

The event combines an appreciation of Danish cinema with a Danish film expo on post-production co-presented by the Danish Trade Commission, Oresund Film Commission, and The National Film School Of Denmark.

Festival founders Lene Pels Jorgensen and Christian Ditlev Bruun have culled a roster that includes Lars Von Trier's most recent release The Boss Of It All, as well as Hunger, Pelle The Conqueror, Babette's Feast, a Mads Mikkelsen retrospective, masterclasses, and Q&A sessions
with film-makers.

The festival is presented by the Scandinavian American Arts Foundation in collaboration with the Royal Danish Embassy, Washington, and the Danish Trade Commission, Los Angeles.

The complete line-up will be announced shortly on www.dkfilmfestla.com.
